Whilst patient collapse in the dental surgery is thankfully a relatively rare occurrence, swift and decisive action is required during such episodes to provide the best chance for a favourable outcome.  The response requires involvement of the whole dental team and requires both theoretical knowledge and practical application.

This session will provide information on the management of the most common causes of collapse in the dental surgery and will include practical demonstrations live-streamed from a resuscitation simulation facility with a computerised manikin based in Glasgow Dental School.
